For Rubies and Sapphires we make GIA international report, for Blue Zircons we make GUILD report.
Why is a gemological report important?
As I see the local gemstone market, there are a lot of fake and synthetic stones. Most of these fake stones easy to identify, but there are some special gemstone treatments what you can`t see with naked eye or with magnifying glass. For example the beryllium treatment for ruby and sapphire is this type of treatment. To identify you need a special laser machine.
Some local laboratory in Asia easily make you a report from a cheap beryllium diffused stone as a natural ruby without testing it for beryllium diffusion. You will see in the report only that its a natural ruby or sapphire. These stones are nice and real natural stones, but because the treatment the value is 1-10 % of a real no treated one.
The GIA laboratory, as the biggest and most experienced laboratory always testing all possible treatment for Rubies and Sapphire, so if you read natural no heat in GIA report, you can be sure this is a not treated natural stone, with a high value.
Always choose trustful international laboratory.
